Noahlogy Inc. Managed by the University of Tokyo Innovation Platform Co., Ltd. (UTokyo IPC), "1stRound" is Japan’s premier incubation program dedicated to accelerating the commercialization of advanced technology seeds.
Japan's shipbuilding and maritime industries are currently at a critical juncture. The retirement of veteran engineers, labor shortages, and new work-style reforms are causing a significant decline in domestic vessel design capabilities. Conversely, the demand for sophisticated design—including next-generation vessels for decarbonization and specialized naval ships—is rapidly increasing, creating a widening gap between supply and demand.
Noahlogy addresses this challenge by deploying "Shipbuilding-Specific AI Agents." Through our participation in the "1stRound" program, we will accelerate the implementation of AI-driven systems designed to facilitate seamless technology transfer and achieve an ambitious 90% reduction in design periods and man-hours.
